Job summary

LECO in Saint Joseph, Michigan is seeking a Consumable Packer to process, bottle, label and package consumable products. The role follows a full-time schedule from 6:00am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday, supporting production lines and quality control duties.

Responsibilities include labeling, weighing on balances, validating labels against paperwork, and following the D-20 Quality system. Candidates should be able to perform basic fractions and ratios and participate in training or process

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow work instructions.
• Manual dexterity with both hands and good coordination.
• Ability to perform basic fractions, percentages, and ratios.

Responsibilities

• Label and package product according to work orders and work instructions.
• Must be able to set up and use balances/scales.
• Check labels against paperwork and material lot numbers, prior to labeling.
• Follow documented procedures in D-20 Quality system.
• Perform record keeping functions.
• Make production and quality improvement suggestions.
• May be required to work from engineering drawings.
• May be directed to perform training duties.
• Perform other duties as directed.
