Consulting Utility Forester | Springfield, MO

Join us as a Consulting Utility Forester at ACRT in Springfield, MO. We are seeking energetic professionals who enjoy working outdoors. This role is suitable for entry-level and experienced candidates with backgrounds in forestry, horticulture, arboriculture, environmental studies, conservation, or related fields.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Identify, inspect, and evaluate trees and brush along utility lines.
  2. Submit inspection results with recommendations to clients.
  3. Plan, direct, and coordinate activities of tree clearance crews.
  4. Negotiate access issues related to line clearance.
  5. Serve as a liaison between clients, crews, and customers.
Minimum Requirements
  • 2 or 4-year degree in relevant fields or 2 years of related experience.
  • Vegetation management experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; GIS experience is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and production-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a geographical area.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Willingness to work in varied terrains and weather, including nights and weekends.
  • Valid driver's license required.
