Job summary

Eocene Environmental Group, Inc. seeks a Consulting Utility Forester to manage vegetation for utility clients in outdoor environments. You will perform inventories, hazard assessments, and planning with a focus on safe, compliant vegetation control along power lines.

Qualifications

• Degree in forestry or related field and/or experience in utility line clearance.
• Species identification skills and invasive species knowledge, plus knowledge of tree growth rates.
• Ability to obtain ISA Arborist Certification within 12 months of offer.

Responsibilities

• Contact property owners & public agencies regarding pruning and/or removals.
• Conduct tree and brush inventories and hazard tree inspections.
• Plan work for tree contractors and supervise site safety.
• Gather field data including species, size, and distance from conductors.
• Verify data accuracy across multiple databases and reports.
