Job summary
World Wide Technology Holding seeks an experienced Senior Solutions Architect to design and support complex enterprise solutions across data center, storage, compute, DR, cyber resiliency, virtualization, HCI, and cloud architectures. You will collaborate with sales, engineering, delivery and OEM partners, communicate with executive stakeholders, and travel up to 25% for client meetings.
Base pay ranges from $150,000 to $210,000 annually, plus variable compensation; OTE eligibility.
Qualifications
- 8+ years in solutions architecture or systems engineering in large enterprises.
- Deep data center infra expertise: storage, compute, backup, DR, cyber resiliency, virtualization, HCI, cloud.
- Broad IT knowledge beyond core focus: networking, security (next-gen firewalls, zero trust), collaboration/UC.
- Architectural thinker who weaves hardware, software, services from vendors.
- Experience leveraging OEM partner solutions to drive outcomes.
- Strong business acumen and consultative skills translating objectives to tech strategy.
- Comfort engaging with executives to articulate business value of tech solutions.
- Skilled at presenting and demo–ing to technical and executive audiences.
- Thorough written communication and documentation discipline.
- Experience in cross-functional teams and with external partners.
- Able to lead by influence, align stakeholders, move deals forward.
- Travel up to ~25% for client meetings.

- Proven track record (typically 8+ years) in solutions architecture or systems engineering roles, designing and supporting complex solutions in large enterprise environments.
- Deep technical expertise in your focus area -- data center infrastructure spanning storage, compute, backup and data protection, disaster recovery, cyber resiliency, virtualization, hyperconverged infrastructure, and cloud/hybrid cloud architectures.
- Broad technical knowledge across multiple IT domains beyond your core focus -- for example, enterprise networking, security infrastructure (next-gen firewalls, zero trust), and collaboration/unified communications.
- Architectural thinker who approaches problems holistically. Able to weave together hardware, software, and services from a broad portfolio of vendors to meet complex customer needs.
- Experience working with and leveraging OEM partner solutions in areas like storage, compute, cloud, data protection, and cybersecurity to drive successful outcomes is highly valued.
- Sharp business acumen and consultative skills -- you listen to a client's business objectives and translate them into technical requirements and strategy.
- Comfortable engaging with executive stakeholders to articulate the business value of technology solutions in clear, impactful terms.
- Skilled communicator with strong presentation and demo abilities. Adept at simplifying complex ideas for both technical and executive audiences.
- Illustrate rigor and discipline with documentation and written communication.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams (sales, engineering, delivery) and with external partners.
- Able to lead by influence, manage expectations, and drive alignment across stakeholders to move deals forward.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) or equivalent practical experience.
- Certifications in relevant areas (Dell, VMware/Broadcom, Pure, NetApp, Cisco, Veeam, Microsoft Azure, AWS, etc.) or equivalent experience is a plus.
- Travel: Ability to travel up to ~25% for client meetings within the region.
Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $150,000.00 to $210,000.00 annually. This role is OTE-eligible, with additional variable compensation provided on top of the base salary. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.
