About The Job

The Red Hat Consulting Services team is seeking a Services Sales Manager to work remotely in the Northeastern United States. This role involves developing and managing relationships within key enterprise and commercial accounts, overseeing sales of consulting services projects, and collaborating with delivery teams to ensure successful project execution from start to finish. Responsibilities include pipeline generation, scope and pricing negotiations, partnership with delivery to monitor project progress, and identifying new business opportunities to drive revenue growth. The role requires partnering with sales teams to guide opportunities from qualification to closure, managing projects and resources, and establishing the necessary technical and non-technical services for ongoing sales support.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a territory of large enterprise and commercial accounts in the Northeastern U.S.
• Sell Red Hat’s services and solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Develop internal partnerships to grow your territory and pipeline.
• Design and implement technical and business solutions using Red Hat technologies like OpenShift, Ansible AAP, RHEL, etc.
• Provide accurate revenue and booking forecasts, manage booking goals, and ensure project delivery aligns with customer expectations.

Within 12 Months, You Will:

• Sell and manage complex multi-product solutions.
• Grow revenue and meet quarterly targets.
• Manage escalations independently.
• Negotiate master service agreements and statements of work.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven sales experience with technical or consulting background.
• Experience working with demanding customers and managing project delivery.
• Ability to architect complex solutions across multiple offerings.
• Strong communication and engagement skills at all organizational levels.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: $193,980 - $310,390, based on experience and qualifications. Benefits include comprehensive health coverage, 401(k), paid time off, parental leave, and additional perks. These benefits apply to full-time, permanent employees in the U.S.
