Job summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Consultant to join our SAP/HCM practice in Houston, TX and other Deloitte offices nationwide. You will lead design, configuration, testing, and implementation of SAP modules and SuccessFactors, and drive integration with third-party systems.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent and at least two years’ experience in ASAP, Agile, XML, SharePoint, SAP SuccessFactors, and SAP HCM OM.

Responsibilities

• Assess information systems and estimate time/resources for development work.
• Create detailed system designs and interface specifications for components.
• Lead end-to-end SAP HCM and SuccessFactors integration work with offshore teams.

Full job description Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Consultant in Houston, Texas and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Responsibilities

• Drive software development and implementation services to address manufacturing, financial, human resources, customer relationship management, supply chain, and other business needs, utilizing SAP products.
• Synthesize overall operations strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions; select the most relevant SAP tools and techniques to meet specific requirements, including business case, pricing, or complex financial analysis and interpreting and reporting on outputs.
• Drive the design, configuration, test, and support of SAP business modules to develop technical objects, including module and reports.
• Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities; estimate time and resources needed for the development work.
• Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document; support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the various components in the design.
• Utilize Accelerated SAP (ASAP), Agile methodologies, Microsoft SharePoint, and Extensible Markup Language (XML) to drive software development and implementation services of SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) and SuccessFactors Employee Central.
• Drive various aspects of the full software development lifecycle for SAP and SuccessFactors implementation, including requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, enhancement validation, defect triage, change requests, and escalations.
• Build, configure and monitor interfaces to integrate SAP OM, PA, Cross‑Application Time Sheet (CATS), Payroll, HR Mini Master, and SuccessFactors Employee Central with third‑party systems such as Workday, Fieldglass, and Salesforce.
• Drive the creation of technical and functional specifications, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models and process models for application development and integration.
• Develop Technical Design Documents from Functional Design Documents for reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and form objects.
• Drive the design of Human Capital Management using SAP HCM and SuccessFactors Employee Central modules for integration and development with offshore teams.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, a STEM field, or a related field is required. Applicants must have at least two years of related work experience in the offered role or a related occupation, and a minimum of two years in each of the following areas: Accelerated SAP (ASAP), Agile methodologies, Microsoft SharePoint, Extensible Markup Language (XML), SAP SuccessFactors, SAP HCM Organizational Management (OM), Personnel Administration (PA), Payroll, Jira, VersionOne, HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), and Atlassian tools.

Other Hours

Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. Telecommuting is permitted. 50% national travel required.
