Join IBM's Veeva Practice team as a Strategist & Business Analyst for Veeva PromoMats, where you will play a key role in shaping and proposing innovative solutions leveraging Veeva, IBM's Consulting AI, and Asset-based capabilities. You will collaborate closely with clients to understand their unique challenges and develop tailored solutions that drive digital transformation within healthcare and life sciences organizations.

Your role and responsibilities

As a trusted advisor, you will combine your expertise in managing and distributing promotional content with healthcare and life sciences industry needs. You will be involved in the entire sales cycle—from initial client engagement and requirements gathering to solution design, demonstration, proposal development, testing, and implementation. This role requires a blend of vision, technical skills, and excellent communication abilities to articulate complex concepts to both business and technical audiences.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Optimize the use of Veeva Vault PromoMats.
  2. Implement client’s end-to-end content supply chain operating model.
  3. Lead business process discovery and application design workshops.
  4. Translate complex client process requirements into workable solution designs.
  5. Create process documentation and project deliverables such as functional and technical requirements.
  6. Provide subject matter expertise in Veeva’s Commercial Content applications and their integration into clients’ ecosystems.
  7. Collaborate with IBM account teams and clients to understand their business processes and convert requirements into technical solutions.
  8. Utilize data analysis tools to gather insights and support decision-making.
  9. Lead requirement discovery sessions and validate solution designs with clients.
  10. Enhance PromoMats capabilities to improve business performance and compliance across the enterprise.
  11. Advise on Veeva best practices, architecture, and integration strategies.
  12. Incorporate IBM assets into Veeva-centric solutions where appropriate.
  13. Respond to RFPs and procurement documents related to business processes and requirements.
  14. Stay updated with the latest Veeva product releases, certifications, and industry trends.
  15. Mentor junior team members and develop team best practices and accelerators.

This role can be performed remotely from anywhere in the US.

Minimum education: Bachelor's Degree

Preferred education: Master's Degree

Required expertise:

  • Proven experience engaging with senior management and executives as a subject matter expert.
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Experience implementing Veeva PromoMats for healthcare and life sciences clients.
  • Expertise with Claims, DAM, Modular Content, MLR review.
  • Experience with regulated content management systems such as Veeva Vault, Documentum, Vodori.
  • Familiarity with DAM tools like Aprimo, Adobe, Bynder.
  • Experience with CRM tools such as Veeva CRM, Salesforce.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Prior consulting experience.
  • Veeva Certifications: Vault Platform Administrator, Vault CRM Administrator, or equivalent.

Preferred additional experience:

  • Leadership skills to guide colleagues and clients through complexity.
  • Knowledge of life sciences compliance and validation requirements (GxP, GcP).
  • Project management certification.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
