It has long-term customer engagements (over 20 years in some cases) and delivers award-winning consulting and technology solutions to enhance efficiency in manufacturing and supply chain divisions worldwide, resulting in ROI and cost savings. We seek a candidate to support our global consulting practice, reporting to the Chief Consulting Officer.

Location:

100% Remote, with consideration for candidates in major EST or CST hubs such as Atlanta, Tampa, Miami, Dallas, Houston, Austin, Chicago Metro, NY Metro, etc.

Summary:

The role involves managing resources for client projects, ensuring the global teams have the right talent and skills. The Consulting Resource Manager will work closely with senior leadership to optimize resource allocation, enhance efficiency, and support successful project execution across industries. Collaboration with the Senior People Partner on hiring and onboarding is also required.

The Role:

  1. Collaborate with leadership to understand project needs.
  2. Assign resources based on project scope and team capabilities.
  3. Monitor and adjust resource allocations for workload balance and productivity.
  4. Analyze performance and utilization data regularly.
  5. Ensure 80% of staff billable hours are submitted via Openair.
  6. Use Power BI to prepare utilization reports.
  7. Hold regular meetings with leadership to review project pipeline and team performance.
  8. Participate in performance reviews and skill gap assessments.
  9. Track project timelines and coordinate staff adjustments.
  10. Prepare data reports and conduct team performance reviews.
  11. Monitor compliance and address issues proactively.
  12. Manage Openair schedules, time off, and forecasts.
  13. Maintain knowledge of team skills and availability.
  14. Coordinate staffing, recruitment, and onboarding.

Technical Skills:

  • Understanding of project lifecycle and resource management.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective stakeholder communication.
  • Experience with resource management tools like Open Air and Workday Adaptive is preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Project Management, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in resource management, workforce planning, or project management, preferably in consulting or professional services.
