Job Summary and Qualifications

This role involves defining, implementing, and supporting the integration, testing, and transition of MEDITECH Expanse and other HIS systems to HCA Revenue Cycle systems, including managing clinical linkage and financial testing, and possibly third-party integrations. The candidate should have healthcare IT revenue cycle experience, especially with MEDITECH Expanse, and knowledge in Patient Access, Charge, Billing, and Collections.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing clinical build and linkage between HIS and revenue systems.
  • Leading financial testing events for system integration.
  • Serving as a consultant and mentor during Expanse implementation.
  • Ensuring deadlines are met and coordinating with various teams for successful go-live activities.
  • Building relationships for business expertise and providing strategic recommendations.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years in HIS system build, testing, and implementation.
  • Understanding of HIS and Revenue Cycle integration, with experience in Patient Access and Hospital Receivables.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with healthcare standards like HL7 preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
