The Opportunity
We are seeking a seasoned
Consulting Managing Director to lead client engagements, shape strategic growth, and serve as a trusted advisor to our clients. This is a senior leadership role, offering the opportunity to influence firm direction, mentor emerging talent, and drive high-impact outcomes for clients.
You will own the full lifecycle of consulting engagements, from opportunity identification and proposal development to delivery oversight and long-term relationship management. Ideal candidates bring a blend of data-driven transformation expertise, consulting leadership, and a passion for commercial real estate.
What You'll Do
Client Leadership & Delivery Oversight
- Serve as executive sponsor and strategic advisor on key client accounts
- Lead discovery, solution design, and delivery planning for data strategy and engineering engagements
- Ensure high-quality execution across multidisciplinary teams and maintain strong client satisfaction
Business Development & Proposal Management
- Identify and qualify new consulting opportunities through your network and market insights
- Lead proposal development, including scoping, pricing, and team resourcing
- Represent the firm in client pitches, industry events, and thought leadership forums
Practice Growth & Strategic Direction
- Shape the firm's go-to-market strategy and service offerings in data solutions for real estate investment firms
- Mentor and develop junior consultants and technical staff
- Collaborate with founders on firm strategy, hiring, and operational scaling
What You Bring
Experience & Expertise
- 8+ years in consulting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role on client engagements
- Deep knowledge of commercial real estate investment workflows, data challenges, and technology trends
- Proven track record winning, managing and delivering complex client engagements and driving proposal processes.
- Experience with data platforms, analytics, and cloud-based architectures (e.g., Azure, Power BI, etc.)
Leadership & Communication
- Executive presence and ability to engage senior stakeholders with credibility
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with ability to engage C-level executives, including proposal writing and presentation delivery
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action and continuous improvement
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with strong project management capabilities
- Collaborative team player who thrives in a remote-first, founder-led culture
