Job summary

UHY Consulting seeks a Finance Transformation Manager or Senior Manager to lead finance transformation engagements across industries in Atlanta. You will guide strategy, design shared services, and drive close optimization while improving core accounting processes and controls.

You will mentor junior staff, partner with CFOs and finance leaders, and help grow our transformation practice through proposals and client presentations. A strong consulting background and ERP experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA preferred.
• 5–10+ years experience (Manager) or 10–15+ years (Senior Manager).
• Strong consulting experience.
• Expertise in Finance Operations, Shared services design, Month-end close, ERP experience.

UHY Consulting is seeking a Finance Transformation Manager or Senior Manager to join our growing team in Atlanta. This role will lead and deliver finance transformation initiatives for clients across multiple industries, with a focus on shared services, close optimization, and core accounting processes. The ideal candidate brings strong consulting experience, deep finance expertise, and a passion for improving how finance organizations operate.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities

Lead finance transformation engagements from strategy through execution Assess current-state finance and accounting operations and identify improvement opportunities Design and implement shared services models and operating structures Drive month-end close optimization initiatives, including process redesign and automation Improve core accounting processes, controls, and reporting capabilities Partner with client stakeholders (CFOs, Controllers, Finance Leaders) to align transformation initiatives with business goals Manage project teams, timelines, and deliverables to ensure high-quality client outcomes Support business development efforts, including proposals and client presentations Mentor and develop junior team members

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred) 5–10+ years (Manager) or 10–15+ years (Senior Manager) of relevant experience Prior consulting experience strongly preferred Deep expertise in: Finance and Accounting Operations Shared services design and implementation Month-end close and record-to-report processes Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar a plus) Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.) Proven ability to lead teams and manage client relationships Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
