The Cleveland Public Power division seeks a Consulting Engineer to provide engineering advisory services for electrical and civil projects. A bachelor's degree in ABET-accredited electrical or civil engineering is required, with a Master's preferred.

Must hold PE licensure in Ohio or have started the Ohio PE process with a four-month window to complete it. Three years of relevant experience is required; five years preferred.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field from an ABET accredited four-year college or university; a Master's Degree is preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field from an ABET accredited four-year college or university; a Master's Degree is preferred.
• Must be registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) in Ohio or have applied for Ohio PE and obtain it within four months of hire.
• Three years of full-time paid experience in relevant engineering areas; five years preferred.

Minimum Qualifications

Cleveland Public Power (Electrical):

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field from an ABET accredited four-year college or university (or equivalent as determined by the Ohio Board of Registration of Professional Engineering and Surveyors) required; a Master's Degree is preferred.
• Must be registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Ohio or if PE license is in another state, you must have applied for an Ohio PE license at the time of hire and obtain it within four months of the date of hire.
• Three years of full-time paid experience in Distribution substation Engineering, GIS, and AutoCAD required, five years is preferred.
• Valid State of Ohio Driver's License required.

Cleveland Public Power (Civil):

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field from an ABET accredited four-year college or university (or equivalent as determined by the Ohio Board of Registration of Professional Engineering and Surveyors) required; a Master's Degree is preferred.
• Must be registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Ohio or if PE license is in another state, you must have applied for an Ohio PE license at the time of hire and obtain it within four months of the date of hire.
