Job Locations: Stockton Oral Surgery & Implantology, Stockton, CA

Job Type: Denti-Cal Consultations

Summary:

We are looking for a Consulting Dentist to join our Bay Area OSM Team two days a week to provide Denti-Cal consultations.

Responsibilities:

1. Evaluate a patient's oral health needs, discuss treatment options, and develop a treatment plan for dental care covered under the Denti-Cal program.
2. Meet with patients to perform a general exam and clarify airway.
3. Review x-rays.
4. Discuss procedure risks and anesthesia with patients.
5. Maintain excellent chair-side manner.

Required Qualifications:

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) Degree.
• NBDE Board Certified.
• Experience seeing Denti-Cal patients.
• Must have or be willing to obtain Denti-Cal/Medi-Cal credentials.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to provide excellent patient care, even under stressful circumstances.
• Maintain professionalism in appearance and attitude.

Preferred:

• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Experience with WinOms Software.

Schedule:

• Saturdays only.

Special Requirements:

• Must be able to stand up to 80% of the time at minimum.
• Physical requirements include driving, sitting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
