Who We Are Looking For

The Senior Consulting Engineer on our Networking Team will work with clients to design, document, and implement robust networking solutions. This role requires technical expertise, teamwork, and excellent customer service skills to manage post-sale professional services from project initiation to completion. The engineer will collaborate with our Technical Lead team, Project Management Office, Managed Services team, and utilize industry-leading technologies to deliver value.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical implementation for assigned projects, coordinating with project managers and clients.
• Develop and execute network configurations, follow test plans, and document projects.
• Ensure smooth handover of documentation to the Managed Services team.
• Analyze and troubleshoot networking issues.
• Provide advanced technical support for routing, switching, security, and wireless technologies.
• Utilize lab setups to recreate and resolve problems.
• Design enterprise networking solutions using current technology, products, and services.
• Continuously update skills and certifications in networking and security technologies.
• Assist pre-sales teams as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Experience with Cisco networking products and protocols.
• Knowledge of Cisco/Viptela SDWAN and other vendor SDWAN technologies.
• Familiarity with DNA Center/SD-Access is highly desirable.
• CCNP-R&S certification is required; CCIE-R&S is highly preferred, or equivalent experience and certifications.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in Routing, Switching, Wireless across Cisco platforms.
• Experience with Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, IOS-XR, and NX-OS.
• Understanding of Network Security, experience with Cisco firewalls preferred.
• Knowledge of Cisco Meraki hardware and dashboard.
• Familiarity with Wireshark or similar tools for network diagnostics.
• Experience with Network Management Systems like Cisco PI or Solarwinds.
• Good communication skills, strong work ethic, positive attitude.
• Willingness to travel; reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required.
