Consulting Accounting Manager - full-time / remote / work from home

We are a boutique full-stack finance and accounting firm, exclusively serving Venture Capital backed startup clients. All of our employees work remotely across 5 US time zones and internationally. The role:

We are now looking to add a Consulting Accounting Manager to support our growing client base. This is a forever remote job opportunity (open to candidates residing in the US only).

Who you are:

Professional and upbeat with a strong attention to detail. You have experience leading a small team and developing complex accounting solutions. You understand the startup space and enjoy meeting with clients regularly via Zoom. If you are entrepreneurial and tech savvy, you will thrive in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Be the main point of contact for the clients you lead
• Work with multiple VC-backed startups handling their daily accounting needs
• Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with US GAAP
• Work closely with team members and lead the month-end close with the aid of the junior accounting team
• Lead the annual audit process for clients
• Assist the finance team with budgeting and modeling
• Create and monitor internal controls and policies

Required qualifications:

• CPA
• 3-6+ years' of professional accounting experience
• Professional and upbeat personality
• Background from tech startups
• Bonus if you have experience in a wide range of cloud-based accounting technology including Bill, Stripe, Chargebee, Rippling/Gusto, Taxjar, and other emerging technologies
