Qualifications

  • Conduct new patient evaluations (60 - 90 minutes each).
  • Provide psychotherapy and manage both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of health professionals.

Overview

Carle Health is seeking BE/BC Consultation Liaison Psychiatrist to join our Behavioral Health Department in Champaign, Illinois.

Opportunity Details

  • 7 on/7 off schedule
  • Join a dynamic department that consists of Child Psychiatrists, Adult Psychiatrists, Ph.D. Psychologists, Therapists, Social Workers, Nurse Practitioners and Psychometricians
  • Fully accredited Psychiatry Residency
  • Join an established hospital employed group practice
  • Maximum 14 patients per day
  • Excellent benefit package: health/dental/life insurance, 403-B plan with employer match, LTD, relocation allowance, CME allowance, and paid malpractice insurance with tail insurance covered
  • 60 - 90 minute new patient evaluations
  • Opportunity to do some psychotherapy, consult liaison, addiction psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, both inpatient and outpatient
  • Extremely established facility which is part of an integrated system with large referral base
  • Opportunity for academic and/or research affiliation with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine in Urbana, the nation's first medical school focused at the intersection of healthcare and engineering

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $325,000 - $330,000. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
