Hourly Rate

I am consulting with a museum in California that is relocating its collection to the Central Coast. This museum’s mission is to preserve aviation history and advancements in aerospace through live, educational aviation experiences relating to the history of flight at the nexus of technology and cultural history.

The museum has secured $12M in funding and begun construction for Phase I of a three-phase expansion. The new building will include an airplane restoration viewing area, a hangar space for display planes, and a STEM flex space.

We are seeking three additional consultants to support the project mid-build, specifically in advancing exhibition design and collection interpretation. The roles include:

  1. Interpretive Planner
  2. Public Historian or SME in US Transportation, STEM, Aviation History, or WWII Cultural History
