Job summary

Red Nucleus is seeking an Associate Consultant / Consultant to help pharmaceutical clients navigate pricing, reimbursement, market access, and commercialization across global markets. You’ll conduct research, analyze data, and build evidence-based recommendations shaping client strategy.

Depending on your experience, you may lead workstreams, coach junior team members, or serve as a key client contact, collaborating across project teams to ensure high-quality, client-ready deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, Economics, Public Health, Health Policy, Pharmacy, or related field.
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct secondary research across pricing, reimbursement, market access, healthcare policy, and competitive landscapes.
• Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify findings, risks, and opportunities.
• Apply structured problem-solving to client questions and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Lead or support project workstreams with plans, timelines, and deliverables.
• Coordinate activities to meet deadlines, quality standards, and client expectations.
• Contribute to primary research design and execution (stakeholder interviews, surveys, advisory boards).
• Ensure high-quality, client-ready deliverables through rigorous quality control.

Join Red Nucleus as an Associate Consultant / Consultant, helping pharmaceutical clients navigate pricing, reimbursement, market access, and commercialization challenges across global markets. You'll work as part of a collaborative team — conducting research, analyzing complex data, and building evidence-based recommendations that shape client strategy. Depending on experience, you may lead workstreams, manage day-to-day execution, coach junior team members, or serve as a key client contact.

This role is available in Boston, Yardley PA and San Francisco

What You'll Do

• Conduct secondary research across pricing, reimbursement, market access, healthcare policy, and competitive/therapeutic landscapes
• Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify key findings, risks, and opportunities
• Apply structured problem-solving to complex client questions and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations

• Lead or support project workstreams, developing plans, timelines, and deliverables
• Coordinate project activities to meet deadlines, quality standards, and client expectations
• Contribute to primary research design and execution (stakeholder interviews, surveys, advisory boards) and related materials
• Ensure high-quality, client-ready deliverables through rigorous quality control

• Develop strong understanding of client objectives, products, and market dynamics
• Participate in client meetings, presenting analyses and recommendations with clarity and confidence
• Build trusted relationships through professionalism, responsiveness, and strong work quality

• Collaborate across project teams and functional areas
• Coordinate with analysts and team members to ensure efficient execution
• Coach and provide constructive feedback to junior team members

• Support business development, proposals, thought leadership, and recruiting efforts
• Contribute to knowledge management and capability-building initiatives
• Stay current on trends in healthcare, market access, pricing, reimbursement, and commercialization

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, Economics, Public Health, Health Policy, Pharmacy, or related field (advanced degree — MBA, MPH, PharmD, PhD valued but not required)
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under deadlines
• Collaborative mindset with emerging leadership and coaching capabilities
• Interest in pharmaceutical/biotech pricing, market access, and commercialization strategy
