Senior Consultant Solutions Architect

Trenton, New Jersey - Hybrid

W2 Only

This resource will architect and deploy cloud-native solutions using AWS. This is not just an architect position; our client is seeking hands-on development expertise to collaborate with vendors and mentor client staff. The resource will develop responsive, intuitive front-end applications using ReactJS and TypeScript, build robust back-end services with Python and SQLAlchemy, and implement workflow orchestration using Temporal. Additionally, they will design and optimize database schemas and queries, create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and solutions. The resource must have extensive and current experience as an application developer in an AWS environment.

Job Duties

• Design applications to function according to technical standards
• Interpret user requirements into design specifications
• Develop system specifications and interfaces
• Review and understand the application team’s work plan
• Provide status updates to the client’s senior management team
• Detail functional and process knowledge
• Estimate time and schedule for work
• Coordinate and work with the client’s software developers
• Ensure solutions meet business requirements
• Identify and track issues, risks, and action items
• Contribute to feature specifications and technical design blueprints
• Build feature-focused testing
• Contribute to user acceptance testing procedures and monitor results
• Contribute to performance and load testing procedures and issue remediation
• Create documentation and playbooks for AWS-hosted applications supported by OIM
• Mentor client staff to support AWS cloud-native applications
• Lead knowledge transfer sessions to client staff

Required Education

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
