FIS is seeking a Consultant Sr. Lead in IBS to shape and lead high-impact consulting engagements that transform client operations and drive measurable outcomes. You will design innovative solutions and guide organizational change across large client programs.

You will mentor teams, collaborate with cross-functional groups, and deliver strategic insights to improve business performance and solution adoption in a fintech environment.

About the Role

As a Consultant Sr. Lead, IBS , you will shape and lead high-impact consulting engagements that help clients achieve business transformation and operational excellence. You will design innovative solutions, guide complex organizational change initiatives, and deliver strategic insights that improve business performance. This role combines deep consulting expertise, thought leadership, and stakeholder influence to drive successful outcomes across large-scale client programs. Success is measured through client value realization, operational improvements, solution adoption, and the achievement of strategic business objectives.

What You Will Be Doing

• Lead the development and execution of consulting strategies that drive business transformation and measurable client outcomes.
• Design and deliver customized solutions aligned with client business models, market strategies, operating environments, and technologies.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on complex business, operational, and technology challenges.
• Lead organizational change management initiatives, enabling successful adoption of new processes, systems, and ways of working.
• Conduct client education, workshops, and training sessions focused on industry trends, emerging technologies, and fintech innovation.
• Direct research, analysis, and assessment activities to identify opportunities for performance improvement and operational optimization.
• Approve project plans, budgets, resource allocation strategies, and delivery approaches to ensure successful execution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Mentor and coach consulting professionals while promoting continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and consulting best practices.
• Influence business decisions through data-driven recommendations, strategic insights, and effective stakeholder engagement.

Required Qualifications

• Expertise in consulting, business transformation, operational improvement, or strategic advisory services.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex programs involving multiple stakeholders, priorities, and business objectives.
• Advanced knowledge of organizational change management, process optimization, and transformation methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to address ambiguous business challenges.
• Experience developing and presenting executive-level recommendations, business cases, and strategic roadmaps.
• Proven ability to manage project budgets, timelines, resources, and client expectations.
• Strong communication, facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in business, finance, technology, organizational development, or a related field.
• Professional certifications in project management, change management, process improvement, or consulting disciplines.
• Experience within financial services, banking, payments, capital markets, or fintech environments.
• Knowledge of business process modeling, operational excellence frameworks, and data-driven transformation approaches.
• Experience leading enterprise technology implementations or large-scale transformation programs.
• Demonstrated success building consulting methodologies, frameworks, or reusable client solutions.
