Job description

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • You will ensure product quality and process reliability, taking into account the factors of time and cost in the manufacturing industry.
  • You will analyze the quality in the company, assess it and initiate improvement measures if necessary.
  • You will already be involved in the design and development phase in order to exclude defects from the outset and keep risks as low as possible.
  • You will drive our customers' supplier's continuous development program in support of quality, delivery, and cost performance metrics.
  • You will evaluate and approve suppliers' manufacturing process capability on-site to ensure product quality satisfies ongoing production.
  • You will review incoming products to assess quality, conduct assessments, and tests to identify recurring errors or quality standard issues.
  • You will provide technical guidance for process enhancement, overhaul production, and manufacturing elements.

WHO YOU ARE

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or similar quality.
  • You display advanced knowledge of manufacturing and production processes.
  • You are detail-oriented.
  • You have strong organizational and excellent communication skills, especially when interfacing with customers and their suppliers.
  • You are characterized by a precise, independent, and structured way of working in a fast-paced environment; you have quick perception and a high business acumen; you motivate others, drive collaboration, and resolve conflicts quickly.
  • You also meet the standard requirements: your English skills are very good, and you are potentially fluent in an additional language (German is a plus!); you work well in a team but also on your own; you know your way around MS Office; you are communicative; you have a high level of presentation skills and are highly flexible.
  • You are willing to travel.
  • You are authorized to work in the U.S.
