As a Consultant, Patient & Provider , you will be responsible for supporting product implementations in markets, with some of our largest life sciences clients. We aim to improve patient and provider satisfaction with scale and speed by identifying opportunities and partners for programs that will enhance clinical care delivery, address care gaps and improve quality of care. The client programs you support will use powerful data analysis and carefully designed interventions to deliver insightful analytics and innovative solutions that will ultimately enhance patient wellness, deliver better outcomes and lower the total cost of care.

This position will report to Director, Client Implementation, Patient & Provider Solutions.

You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Program management of active client engagement programs across the Patient & Provider Solutions portfolio
  • Work closely with Product Directors in the delivery of client contracted deliverables within scope, schedule and budget
  • Assist in the development of slide decks, project plans, and timelines and in the presenting of concepts to client and business partners
  • Serve as the voice of the customer to provide ongoing thought leadership for go to market planning, the product roadmap, and support of product refinements to the product strategy and development teams
  • Collaborate with internal teams and coordinate resources across departments to meet implementation objectives
  • Teamwork and collaboration in a dynamic and growing team by contributing to the development of new tools and frameworks that drive efficiency and excellence in delivery
  • Work closely with Clinical Content Strategy, Data Solutions, Business Development and Enterprise Relationship Management Teams to ensure alignment across product portfolio

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
  • 4+ years of healthcare, pharma or consulting experience, including experience delivering executive level presentations
  • 4+ years of experience working with data teams and providing meaningful insights from analyses for clients
  • 4+ years of experience in program management/project management
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel at least 25%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (strong preference for chemistry, biology, math, physics, engineering, or business)
  • Masters Degree
  • Previous experience working in Optum, UHG or UHC
  • Client management and/or business development experience

The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
