Job description

As a Consultant, you will report to an Associate Managing Director in the Offensive Security department. You will be the technical expert on our engagements with Latin American clients, supporting service scoping for their cybersecurity challenges, and acting as their security subject matter expert and ours. You will also deliver penetration tests for clients based in North America and Europe. Additionally, you will mentor Associate Consultants and Consultants, serving as a role model for their careers. You will continuously update your knowledge with security events and information, integrating this into your practices, and effectively communicate technical details to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

1. Deliver consultative and offensive security engagements, including web application, API, and infrastructure penetration tests, establishing yourself as an expert to clients and teammates.
2. Support the technical delivery of engagements by defining strategies, performing tests, discussing results with clients, and collaborating with the global Offensive Security Team.
3. Scope and propose solutions for various engagements such as penetration tests, consultative projects, and phishing exercises.
4. Author deliverables including vulnerability reports and executive summaries.
5. Collaborate with regional leadership to tailor services, approaches, and solutions to client needs.

Essential Traits:

1. At least 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a minimum of 1 year in penetration testing or red teaming.
2. Deep knowledge of application security, infrastructure security, and other offensive or defensive security domains.
3. Strong self-learning motivation and willingness to explore new areas.
4. High adaptability to different tools, industries, and contexts.
5. Generosity in sharing knowledge and patience with mentees.
6. Fluency in Portuguese with excellent oral and written communication skills.
7. Proficiency in English and/or Spanish is a plus.
8. Proven ability to successfully deliver Offensive Security engagements.
