Job summary

Infor is seeking a Consultant for Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to join a customer-facing delivery team in Dallas, TX. You will configure MES, translate client needs into system settings, and help deliver major manufacturing transformations across the region.

You’ll collaborate with the Solution Architect and project team, travel 10-20% as needed, and support Go-Lives while ensuring quality and on-time delivery. A background in computing or manufacturing tech is required.

Qualifications

• Real work experience or degree in computing, business information systems, manufacturing engineering, manufacturing technology or related subject.
• Exposure to manufacturing environments, e.g., IT apprentice or hands-on work within a factory setting—balanced with technical and functional skills.
• Experience configuring software, shop floor processes, and translating customer requirements into system configurations.
• Experience coding, particularly in C#, along with a basic understanding of SQL and database concepts.
• Ability to travel 10-20% of the time.
• Must be willing to work 3 days per week in the Dallas, Texas office.
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Work within a project delivery team on MES implementation projects, with core responsibilities including software installation, solution configuration, integration work, verification, and testing.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of timesheets, acting with integrity to facilitate correct billing for customers.
• Collaborate with the Solution Architect, acting as a Principled Entrepreneur, to enhance the experience for both our internal team and customers.
• Work effectively within a small project delivery team, collaborating successfully to ensure projects are delivered on time and in-budget.
