Job summary

Capital Group is seeking an HR Solutions Consultant to join the Global Shared Services team supporting North America. You will manage complex medical and religious accommodation and LOA cases for the US and Canada, partnering with global HR, leaders, and benefits teams to improve processes and the associate experience.

You will influence policy, deliver data-driven insights, and drive projects that centralize HR functions while maintaining high-quality stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, master's degree or HR certifications and a minimum of 5 years HR experience preferred.
• Experience with case management, especially medical/religious accommodations and LOA.
• Strong communication and advanced consulting skills with stakeholders across organizations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a workload of complex medical/religious accommodations and LOA cases for US/Canada from start to finish.
• Educate leaders on applicable accommodation/leave laws and benefits programs.
• Lead projects to centralize processes and improve efficiency; partner with global HR teams.
• Analyze data, identify trends, and translate findings into actionable HR solutions.
• Collaborate with the Global Shared Services team to support North America initiatives.

As an HR Solutions Consultant, you will be a key member of the Global Shared Services team supporting North America. In this role, you will partner with the global HR team, our specialist teams, and business leaders to drive the people component of Capital's business strategy, particularly focusing on medical accommodations requests under ADA (US) and AODA (Canada), Leave of Absence (LOA) administration, resolving questions/issues across several general HR and Benefits domains. You will participate in and/or lead projects aimed at expanding centralization or continuous process improvement, leverage technology to improve the associate experience, and discover actionable insights and recommend solutions.

Please note, this role does require you to work in office Monday-Thursday with the flexibility to work from home on Friday.

• You can independently oversee a case load of complex medical/religious accommodations and LOA cases for Canada and the US: identifying and prioritizing situations requiring action and managing those cases from start to finish.
• You have strong communication skills and can build rapport quickly with a variety of stakeholders and use these skills and other knowledge to proactively educate leaders regarding accommodation/leave laws and benefit programs.
• You have demonstrated advanced consulting skills by resolving complex issues and applying knowledge of benefits plans and summary plan descriptions to everyday situations.
• You have a broad HR knowledge base and can be the point of contact for accommodations/LOA cases, general benefits, and other HR questions.
• You can interpret various HR policies and procedures, offering customized guidance to associates and managers tailored to specific circumstances.

Charlotte Base Salary Range: $85,371-$136,594

San Antonio Base Salary Range: $81,784-$130,854

Indianapolis Base Salary Range: $87,113-$139,381

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
