Job summary

Statista Healthcare is seeking a data-centric Consultant to join our international team. You will manage collection, processing, and analysis of healthcare data powering our Rankings, Ratings, and Benchmarking projects, while collaborating with clients on scoring and insights.

You will work with large, diverse datasets, transform raw data into clean information, and help automate analytical workflows within Statista’s Healthcare Data Platform.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and further develop Statista Healthcare’s ranking and rating databases, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and scalability
  • Collaborate on data pilots and benchmarking projects — from design and metric development to scoring and results analysis, interacting directly with clients as part of an interdisciplinary project team
  • Integrate, clean, and standardize external datasets from hospitals, ministries, and partners for unified use in Statista’s healthcare products
  • Develop and document data models and scoring frameworks in alignment with the Healthcare Analysis and IT teams
  • Support the development of Statista’s Unified Health Database and future Healthcare Data Platform
  • Perform internal analyses and reporting to support decision making

Your Role As Data Science Consultant Statista Healthcare

you will join our international team of data professionals, supporting the analytical backbone of Statista’s healthcare activities. Your work will focus on the collection, processing, and analysis of healthcare data that power our Rankings, Ratings, and Benchmarking projects, as well as the development of new, data-driven products. In Benchmarking and custom quality development projects with healthcare providers and other stakeholders you will be part of an interdisciplinary project team that works directly with our clients. You will work hands‑on with large and diverse datasets, transform raw data into clean, structured information, and contribute to the automation of our analytical workflows. In close collaboration with internal analysts, engineers, and project managers, you will ensure that our healthcare data infrastructure remains reliable, scalable, and ready for future integration into the Statista Healthcare Data Platform. Your work will directly support Statista’s mission to make healthcare quality measurable, comparable, and actionable - globally.
