THE TEAM

Our Global Pricing & Market Access (PMA) team at Navlin is a dynamic, international group that combines inhouse expertise with real-time intelligence on pricing, HTA updates, and regulatory news through Navlin’s platform. We deliver strategic, well-informed recommendations on pricing and access for our clients using advanced price-management software and launch-sequence simulation tools (navlin.com). We are a multicultural team with a flexible remote-working model and satellite offices in London, Berlin, and Milan. Our team is rapidly expanding, and we collaborate with Eversana’s other functions in global launch execution projects to keep PMA central to launches.

THE POSITION

The Consultant, Global Pricing and Market Access will deliver client consultancy projects and manage analytics, data, and tools available through Navlin or dedicated secondary and primary research. The role ensures tasks are completed on schedule with high quality and value for clients, and involves leading research and analysis on pricing, market access launch strategy, competitor research, value-based pricing analyses, HTA, and related areas. The Consultant identifies client needs, implements robust strategic and data-driven solutions, and manages workload to prepare client deliverables. The role also contributes to business development through proposal development. Activities are executed under the guidance of an Engagement Manager, mainly remotely, with some offices available for use where present.

The role is home-office based, full-time, located in Italy, Remote.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Our consultants deliver excellent business results through the project team. Core responsibilities include:

  • Designing and executing client analyses and deliverables
  • Developing client reports and presentations, delivering findings to clients
  • Providing follow-up with clients after project deliverables to ensure satisfaction
  • Identifying strategic alternatives and applying a solution-oriented approach to add client value
  • Developing intellectual property for use on future engagements
  • Building broader knowledge of consulting methodologies and life science know-how through on-the-job experience and training
  • Maintaining high attention to quality and detail with strong written and spoken English
  • Utilizing PowerPoint and Excel skills to present information in compelling ways
  • Occasionally managing junior resources such as associate consultants or interns
  • Working effectively in a remote environment with limited face-to-face contact, under supervision of a more senior team member

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

The requirements below represent the experience, education, knowledge, and abilities required.

  • B.S./B.A in a relevant field (life sciences or economic/managerial sciences, medical engineering)
  • 2–4 years of pharmaceutical or health industry experience and/or 2–4 years of management consulting experience
  • Understanding of life sciences business practices and client challenges in relevant segments
  • Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of the market research development process
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative market research skills
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Ability to structure and analyze large data sets from multiple sources to answer business questions and make recommendations
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects
  • Demonstrated self-awareness and accountability
  • Ability to lead and own personal projects
  • Ability to establish credibility with clients at companies
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to ~10% of annual work time, mainly for off-site events

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS, MPH)
  • Background in International Pricing and Market Access, analytics and forecasting is a plus for leading Global Pricing and Market Access projects
  • 2+ years of management consulting experience
