Job Description

In this unique Consultant, Crisis and Corporate Security Management role, you will support agile and confidential crisis response protocols designed to mitigate the impact of natural disasters, technological disruptions, and security-related incidents affecting NIQ’s personnel, property, and business operations—primarily in the Americas. You will implement crisis and physical security policies and training programs for our global workforce, while also supporting crisis management, physical security, and business continuity initiatives in collaboration with internal stakeholders and third-party partners.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments at operational sites across the Americas to identify threats and vulnerabilities affecting employees, facilities, and physical assets
  • Partner with facility managers to design and implement physical security measures for new construction, acquisitions, and renovation projects
  • Enforce security policies, procedures, and protocols to safeguard people, property, and sensitive information
  • Continuously monitor evolving threats and adjust physical and procedural security measures accordingly
  • Lead or support investigations into security-related incidents such as theft, vandalism, or workplace violence
  • Deliver security awareness training and coordinate emergency drills to ensure workforce preparedness
  • Assist in developing, maintaining, and executing enterprise-level crisis management plans, and support site-level emergency response planning
  • Lead initiatives to improve Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BC/DR) procedures
  • Provide subject matter guidance to business units, procurement teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with security and crisis management requirements
  • Manage vendor relationships with security providers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure service quality and contractual compliance
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in crisis or corporate security management or research-related discipline, or a minimum of 4 years of direct crisis management or corporate security experience
  • 4-5 years of experience with corporate security or similar operations
  • 4-5 years of policy and plans development
  • Prior experience with multinational or cross-border operations
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and business judgment
  • Must be fluent in English and Spanish, with working proficiency in Portuguese to support effective communication across regional business operations
  • Good understanding of industry-accepted security frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls)
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 Products
  • Relevant industry certification or pursuing certification desired, but not a requirement (e.g., CCMC, PSP, CRISC, CISA, CISM, CISSP)
  • Prior law enforcement or military experience is desired, but not a requirement
