Job summary

Credera is seeking a Senior Cloud Consultant to lead cloud initiatives for diverse clients. You will be a technical leader in a small team, guiding design, estimating tasks, and mentoring juniors.

Expect work across cloud-native development, data ingestion, migrations, and security, with opportunities to mentor and influence client solutions. Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP, plus Terraform and CI/CD tooling, is essential.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of hands-on experience delivering cloud enterprise solutions across multiple domains in industry or technology consulting.
• You often become an SME on a topic and are sought out by others on your team for your technical expertise and opinion.
• Understanding of cloud solution architecture in one or more major cloud service providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Technical knowledge in cloud tooling: AWS, Azure, GCP services and data engineering concepts.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adopt new technologies, frameworks, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and estimate implementation tasks; mentor junior team members.
• Lead implementation work streams with the team and coordinate with client stakeholders.
• Architect and guide cloud solution patterns; re-architect legacy systems and build greenfield cloud-native apps.
• Create landing zones and account structures, and plan cloud data ingestion and migration.
• Present technical concepts to clients, both business and technical audiences.

Within the Cloud Capability, you may work in the following areas: cloud native development, cloud platform engineering, cloud data ingestion, cloud migration & adoption or cloud strategy.

As a Senior Cloud Consultant, you will be a technical leader or SME in a small team deployed to deliver solutions to our client’s hardest problems. You will be responsible to help the team design and estimate implementation tasks, lead implementation work streams, and mentor junior team members. Our projects range from re-architecting legacy and building greenfield applications natively on the cloud, building landing zones and account structures, ingesting data into the cloud, and more.

WHO YOU ARE:

• You have 1-3 years of hands-on experience delivering cloud enterprise solutions across multiple domains in industry or technology consulting.
• You often become an SME on a topic and are sought out by others on your team for your technical expertise and opinion.
• You have an understanding of cloud solution architecture in one or more major cloud service providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• You have technical knowledge and experience in some of these areas:
  • Cloud Native Tooling
    • AWS: Lambda, Aurora, EC2, Fargate, S3, etc.
    • Azure: Functions, Queue Storage, Cosmos DB, App Services, etc.
    • GCP: Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Functions, etc.

• You enjoy working as a team with other talented individuals to solve challenging problems with creative solutions.
• You are comfortable presenting technical concepts to a client audience, both business and technical.
