Job summary

DNV USA, Inc. seeks a Consultant to work on a hybrid schedule out of our Sunrise, Florida office with 10% domestic and 10% international travel.

The role focuses on providing technical support to the global Maritime and Offshore industry, covering environmental, safety, and risk domains, and advising on emission reductions and regulatory compliance. You will lead safety assessments and help clients develop strong HSEQ cultures while collaborating across regions.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to global Maritime and Offshore clients across cruise, gas carriers, tankers, and bulk carriers.
• Deliver projects in environmental, safety, and risk domains including transactional risk.
• Advise on emission reduction strategies, alternative fuels, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead safety and risk assessments for client sites and operations.
• Support clients in developing safety culture and HSEQ systems.
• Lead or contribute to incident investigations and organizational learning.
• Manage projects and collaborate across regions and functions.
• Drive business development and client engagement.

• Provide technical support to the global Maritime and Offshore industry, helping clients achieve profitable and sustainable results for all ship segments such as cruise, gas carriers, tankers, and bulk carriers as well as port infrastructure.
• Deliver projects across environmental, safety, and risk domains, including transactional risk.
• Advise on emission reduction strategies, alternative fuels, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead safety and risk assessments.
• Support clients in developing safety culture and HSEQ systems.
• Lead or contribute to incident investigations and organizational learning.
• Manage projects and collaborate across regions.
• Drive business development and client engagement.
• Requires 10% domestic, 10% international travel.
• Hybrid work permitted 2 days per week within a reasonable commuting distance of Sunrise, FL.
