UNICEF seeks a Business Analyst Consultant to enhance and maintain the Humanitarian cash Operations and Programme Ecosystem (HOPE). The consultant will develop high-quality documentation, manage workflows, and ensure quality assurance for new features. Purpose of Activity/Assignment: The purpose of this position is to support the HCT team in developing the technical documentation required throughout the enhancements and maintenance of UNICEF Humanitarian cash Operations and Programme Ecosystem (HOPE) and to liaise with relevant stakeholders, internal and external. The technical documentation function entails the drafting of functional and business requirements, user stories and visualization of business and process flow to support the architectural and functional enhancements of HOPE. This function plays a critical role in ensuring adequate quality assurance and user acceptance tests are performed prior to the deployment of new features and bug fixes.
Scope of Work: Produce high quality Business and functional documentation, including updating artifacts, developing workplans, reviewing functional requirements, supporting alignment, documenting access levels, mapping workflows, maintaining manuals, providing technical input, updating stakeholders, and documenting system integrations.
Terms of Reference / Key Deliverables: Map workplan activities, conduct UAT, update user manuals, document features and modules, perform quality control, test integrations, and provide regular updates.
Education: University degree in Information Technology, Business Process Management, or relevant field.
Work experience: At least five (5) years in MIS design and documentation, experience with UN agencies preferred, familiarity with mobile data collection apps, collaboration skills, knowledge of agile methodologies, and programming skills (Python, Visual Basic, Java) as assets.
