Job summary

Baystate Health is seeking a Consult-Liaison Psychiatrist to join the Department of Psychiatry at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA. This 100% inpatient, full-time role offers an academic environment with opportunities to teach CL Psychiatry Fellows and residents and to participate in research initiatives.

Ideal candidates will have completed a CL Psychiatry Fellowship or possess meaningful CL psychiatry experience, with a track record in geriatrics or addiction psychiatry considered

Qualifications

• Completion of a Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry Fellowship.
• Experience in CL Psychiatry or geriatrics/addiction psychiatry is valued.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient Consult-Liaison psychiatry for adults and geriatrics.
• Teach CL Psychiatry Fellows and Psychiatry residents.
• Participate in academic initiatives and research.

Our flagship hospital, Baystate Medical Center, is home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School-Baystate. We are seeking a Consult-Liaison Psychiatrist to join the Department of Psychiatry at Baystate Medical center in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Position Highlights

• Academic Consult-Liaison Psychiatry position within an established and collaborative multidisciplinary team.
• Opportunity to work alongside 6 full-time Consult-Liaison psychiatrists and 4 Advanced Practice Providers.

• 100% inpatient position serving diverse adult and geriatric patients.
• This position is full-time, Monday-Friday schedule, day shift

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have completed a Consultation-Liaison (C/L) Psychiatry Fellowship. We also welcome experienced psychiatrists with a strong background in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry or meaningful clinical experience in geriatrics, addiction psychiatry, or other related areas of practice.

Compensation

The compensation range listed below represents the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are based on assumed full‑time commitment for exempt employees. Minimum= $144,610. Maximum= $183,175
