Morton Buildings Construction Crew Member

Morton Buildings is seeking to expand our construction crews and employee owners! We are a leader in post-frame construction with over 120 years of experience, operating more than 10 manufacturing, fabrication, and shipping plants, and servicing over 100 construction centers nationwide.

Benefits and Compensation:

• Hourly wage: $22.00 to $24.00, based on experience, paid weekly
• Additional bonuses: $500 quarterly during the first year, plus a $2000 sign-on bonus

Job Responsibilities:

• Learn and apply safety and construction procedures
• Read and build according to plans
• Use tools and equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform tasks such as digging, framing, installing doors/windows, siding, roofing, and finishing
• Work collaboratively in a respectful and organized environment

Qualifications:

• Experience in building construction, carpentry, or framing preferred
• Willingness to participate in training
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Availability for long work hours during peak season
• Ability to follow instructions and produce quality work
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, up to 100 pounds occasionally, and work at heights up to 40 feet
• Willingness to travel up to 20%, including overnight stays
