Job summary

Performs a wide range of skilled and unskilled construction tasks on assigned renovation and new construction projects that support the healthcare mission of Princeton Community Hospital and its facilities.

Experience

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3 years of experience in the construction field performing work in a commercial/residential setting.
  • One year building maintenance experience.

Preferred Qualifications

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:

  • Completion of educational curriculum from a trade or vocational school.
  • Preferred license or certification of at least one of the following construction disciplines: Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing, or HVAC.

  • Framing with metal studs
  • Measuring, cutting, hanging drywall
  • Finishing drywall by taping, sanding, and applying a finish
  • Framing and hanging doors
  • Installing electrical conduit and pulling wiring
  • Installing a variety of electrical devices and safely terminating connections
  • Installing and hanging HVAC ductwork and devices
  • Roughing in and installing new plumbing fixtures, valves, supply, drain and vent lines
  • Installing different types of flooring materials
