About the Role

This position requires physical effort and candidates must be able to work outdoors, at heights, and travel as needed. Essential Responsibilities:

The role involves various duties on construction projects, often in a utility capacity, including but not limited to:

• Measuring distances from grade stakes, driving stakes, and stretching lines.
• Bolting, nailing, aligning, and blocking forms.
• Signaling equipment operators to assist with machinery alignment and movement.
• Leveling earth to fine grade specifications using hand tools.
• Mixing concrete with float, trowel, and screed.
• Joining, aligning, and sealing pipe sections.
• Erecting scaffolding, shoring, and braces.
• Spraying materials like water, sand, steam, or paint through hoses for cleaning or sealing.
• Grinding, sanding, or polishing surfaces such as concrete, marble, terrazzo, or wood flooring.
• Performing tasks requiring dexterity, such as demolishing, cutting, dismantling, and mounting.
• Working collaboratively with others.
• Following safety rules and encouraging others to do the same.
• Maintaining good relationships with co-workers.
• Handling physical demands, including lifting up to 70 pounds occasionally and 40-50 pounds frequently, along with climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling.
