• Perform demolition and reconstruction work as needed.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.

Construction Worker Location: Bellflower, CA / Project Sites Throughout Southern California

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Pay: $28-$33/hour, depending on experience

About the Opportunity Our client seeking an experienced Construction Worker to join its team supporting projects throughout Southern California. This is not a general labor position. We are looking for someone who has hands-on construction experience and knows how to build, repair, install, and complete a variety of construction-related tasks. The ideal candidate is well-rounded, dependable, and comfortable working independently or alongside a construction team. You should have practical experience with drywall, painting, basic carpentry, repairs, installations, and other skilled construction work. Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on construction, repair, and installation work at various project sites
• Install, repair, patch, and finish drywall
• Perform interior and exterior painting, including surface preparation and touch-ups
• Complete basic carpentry, framing, installation, and general building tasks
• Perform demolition and reconstruction work as needed
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Measure, cut, assemble, install, and repair construction materials
• Assist with punch-list work, tenant improvements, repairs, and project closeout activities
• Read measurements and follow instructions, plans, and project specifications
• Identify basic construction issues and determine appropriate repairs
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
• Follow company and jobsite safety requirements
• Work effectively with superintendents, project managers, subcontractors, and other field personnel
• Travel to project sites throughout Southern California as required

Job Requirements

What We're Looking For

• Previous hands-on construction experience required
• Must have experience beyond basic/general labor
• Experience with drywall installation and repair
• Painting and surface preparation experience
• Basic carpentry and general building experience
• Comfortable using common construction hand and power tools
• Ability to measure accurately and complete construction tasks with limited supervision
• Strong understanding of jobsite safety
• Dependable, punctual, and willing to work at different project locations
• Able to perform physical construction work, including lifting, carrying, bending, standing, and working on active jobsites
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
