Experience with radon mitigation is preferred, and paid training is provided if you are not certified. The position offers a starting salary in the 35k–55k range with guaranteed winter hours and strong opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Experience with installing radon mitigation systems is required or preferred.
• Attention to detail and precision are essential on all on-site tasks.
• Basic electrical work experience is a plus and safety compliance is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Travel to multiple job sites in Northeast Ohio on a daily basis.
• Train and work with team members to ensure safe, efficient installations.
• Lift heavy materials (10–60 pounds) and climb ladders as needed.
• Perform basic pipe fitting and drilling with accuracy.
• Maintain clear communication with homeowners and team members; interact professionally.
• Assist in general mitigation construction tasks as assigned.
• Pipe fitting experience is a preferred skill.

Wanted: Skilled Construction Worker in Akron

Looking for a construction job near me with a growing company? Come join our team today! We are looking for skilled construction workers that have the necessary experience and skillset for installing radon mitigation systems who are looking to grow their careers with a company passionate about saving lives. Candidates with Radon mitigation certifications and licenses are preferred, however, paid training will be provided to those that are not certified!

At Radon Eliminator, we are in the business of testing and removing Radon from homes and businesses throughout Ohio. Our goal is to create awareness of the dangers of Radon and save people's lives. Radon is the second leading cause of Lung Cancer in the U.S. and kills more people than Drunk Drivers annually.

Job Duties

• Going to various job sites on a daily basis primarily in Northeast Ohio
• Train and work well together with others
• Lift heavy materials (10 to 60 pounds) and climb ladders
• Basic electrical work
• Drill precise holes and measure accurately
• Pipe Fitting
• Attention to Detail is a MUST
• Other normal job tasks for mitigation construction...

Pipe Fitting experience is a preferred skill!

The ideal candidate must possess quality communication skills because you will interact with homeowners, although your job will not be to "sell".

Pay Structure

The starting salary for this construction laborer position depends on your previous experience, but the range is between $35,000 and $55,000. To be selected for this position, you will also be required to take an aptitude test once you declare your interest.
