Construction Welder and Pipefitter Helper (Construction)

Job Summary:

Assists in tasks such as cutting, fit-up, welding, grinding, and painting to produce welded pipe and structural steel assemblies according to drawings and specifications.

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• 0-6 months of related experience and/or training required.

Skills and Abilities:

• Proper and safe use of related tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of welding quality standards and ability to inspect welds.
• Proficiency with measuring, locating, and testing tools.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills; ability to handle stress.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others.
