Job summary

MSIG USA, the US-based subsidiary of MS&AD Insurance Group Holdings, is seeking an Underwriting Specialist focused on the constructions business. You will produce, underwrite, and service project and master builders risks within delegated authority.

Grow producer relationships, manage profitability, monitor risk trends, and collaborate with internal units to deliver best-in-class service to brokers and clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of underwriting experience with profitability demonstrated.
• Strong knowledge of exposures, forms, pricing, and reinsurance.
• Proven ability to build lasting producer relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience preferred; CPCU encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Produces, underwrites, and services project and master builders risks within authority.
• Underwrites Inland Marine classes related to contractors equipment and transport.
• Maintains underwriting files and data accuracy per guidelines.
• Develops and maintains producer relationships to build a profitable book.
