Job summary

West Shore Home in Huntsville, AL is seeking a motivated Construction Trainee to support safe, quality installations of baths, showers, and related fixtures. You will load materials at the warehouse, travel to homes, greet customers, and assist with a 5-star experience.

The role requires basic carpentry and tool knowledge, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to learn. Training is provided; expect an early start at 6:30 AM and field work across residential remodel projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in carpentry, remodeling, plumbing – or a hunger to learn!
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• Must have a valid smart phone or smart device to log into Company required systems using two-factor authentication

Responsibilities

• Arrive at warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks
• Travel to customer’s home, greet them, and establish rapport
• Demo existing bath/shower and install new tub or pan, wall surround, and update plumbing if needed
• Clean up thoroughly, showing care for the customer’s home
• Collect paperwork and payment, then return to warehouse
