Job summary

West Shore Home is seeking a Residential Remodeler to join our Kansas City team, working on bathroom remodels and showers. You will report to the Installation Manager and collaborate with Lead Installers, Trainers, and Warehouse staff.

The role requires waking early, traveling to customer homes, performing installations, and ensuring high-quality results. The position emphasizes extreme ownership, on-time performance, and customer satisfaction, with training and tools provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in carpentry, remodeling, plumbing, construction or eagerness to learn.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to read a tape measure.
• Valid Driver’s License and smartphone access for company systems.

Responsibilities

• Meet at the warehouse at 6:30AM, load materials and drive to customer homes.
• Greet customers and establish rapport on site.
• Perform demolition of bathtub/shower area and install new unit.
• Update plumbing as needed and ensure proper finish and cleanup.
• Obtain signed documents and payments before returning to warehouse.

As a Residential Remodeler on our Kansas City team, you will join us on our mission of Bringing Happiness to Every Home® by consistently delivering five-star shower installation and bath remodel experiences to our customers.

You will report directly to our Installation Manager and work closely with our Lead Installers, Trainers, and Warehouse/Operations professionals.

What It Takes to Succeed

• Experience in carpentry, remodeling, plumbing, construction – or a hunger to learn!
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools

• Valid Driver’s License
• Must have a valid smart phone or smart device in order to log into Company required systems using two-factor authentication

A Day in the Life

In this role, you can expect to:

• Meet at our warehouse at 6:30AM, gather materials, and load company trucks
• Drive to customers home, greet and establish rapport
• Complete controlled demolition of the bathtub/shower area
• Install new bathtub/shower pan and acrylic wall surround, update plumbing as needed
• Show extreme attention to detail and care for customer’s home by properly cleaning up following installation
• Obtain necessary signed documents & payment from customer, and return to warehouse
