Job summary

Management & Training Corporation (MTC) is hiring an on-site supervisor for the Tongue Point Job Corps Center in Astoria, OR. The role oversees construction trade programs and instructors, coordinating with national training contractors to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in vocational training or related field and at least three years of technical experience, plus one year of supervisory experience and strong communication;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in vocational training or associated field; three years related technical experience preferred.
• Directly related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education requirements.
• One year recent supervisory experience required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and computer proficiency required.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Act as the on-site supervisor of all construction trade programs and instructors.
• Coordinate with national training contractors.
• Administer construction trades' projects in compliance with government directives and regulations.
• Ensure budget and project progress reports are compiled per Department of Labor requirements.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures affecting career technical training.
• Coordinate activities with nation training contractor instructors and coordinators.
• Evaluate and develop curricula, instructional materials, methods and techniques.
• Ensure CTST reporting forms are completed per DOL requirements and CTST plan.

What you will be doing:

You’ll be responsible to act as the on-site supervisor of all the construction trade programs and instructors. Coordinates with national training contractors. Administers construction trades' projects in compliance with government and management directives and federal, state, and local regulations.

• Ensure all CTST reporting forms required are compiled and filed in accordance with DOL requirements; ensure adherence to center's CTST plan.
