Segra is seeking a qualified Construction Technician in Raleigh, NC, to join us in a full-time onsite role. You will oversee field construction activities, supervise contractors, plan and implement efforts across multiple sites, and report progress to the Construction Manager to meet timelines.

The position requires 2 years of fiber/telecom construction experience, leadership ability, and strong knowledge of prints.

Qualifications

• 2 years of fiber, Telecommunications, ROW, or relevant construction experience.
• Ability to effectively lead a crew to complete projects on schedule, meeting customer requirements and budget guidelines.
• Excellent understanding of construction and permitting prints.
• Assist in monitoring and reporting inventory/material usage during construction cycle.
• Assist with identification and troubleshooting of construction problems and provide timely and safe solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong planning and organization skills to balance and prioritize work.
• Some travel is expected, including overnight and daily travel.
• Basic experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Overview

Segra is seeking a qualified and experienced Construction Technician (Raleigh NC) to join us in a full-time capacity.

Location Requirement:

The work arrangement for this role is in office onsite 5 days each week.

Role Overview

The Construction Technician will oversee the construction activities that take place on the worksite and will be primarily responsible for the supervision of construction contractors in the field. The Construction Technician will plan, implement, and oversee construction efforts at several work sites within their designated market.

The Construction Technician will report on field progress to the Construction Manager and/or Project Manager to ensure all projects are completed within the parameters set forth in the estimated timeline. The CT will be responsible for the quality of construction activities and ensure company standards and best practices are being used throughout the construction cycle. The CT will be part of the 24x7 on call on a rotational basis.

Salary Range: $27.22 - $33.97
