Job Type: Full-time
Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Pay Range: $15-$17 per hour

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Construction Technician – Level I to support small reconstruction and construction projects. This role involves performing hands-on construction work, maintaining high-quality service standards, and assisting with job site coordination. Candidates must be team-oriented, detail-focused, and ready to work in a dynamic field environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with on-site tasks including material handling and replenishment
• Perform a variety of construction services such as framing, drywall, painting, and flooring installation
• Address and resolve punch list items promptly
• Provide daily electronic project updates and documentation
• Pick up, deliver, and manage construction materials
• Take job site photos and maintain accurate logs and records
• Ensure work is completed on time, within scope, and budget
• Maintain quality standards through site inspections and communication with project management

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous construction experience preferred
• Skills in tile, carpet, roofing, plumbing, electrical, or HVAC are a plus

Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Basic math skills
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
• Comfortable using mobile devices and completing simple digital tasks
• Ability to use personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Strong team player with the ability to follow instructions and adapt to project needs

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

• Walking or standing for extended periods
• Frequent driving and sitting
• Occasional ladder climbing and exposure to heat and loud noise
• Use of power tools and construction machinery

Schedule & Travel:

• Standard hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Occasional overtime, on-call, and weekend work may be required
• Local travel is common; occasional overnight travel may be expected
