Job summary

Insituform Technologies LLC, an Azuria Water Solutions company, seeks Construction Technicians/Laborers in Chesterfield, MO to install CIPP for municipal, industrial, storm and sewer line rehab projects. CDL required; travel weekly may be necessary.

Starting pay ranges from $24.00 to $30.00 per hour depending on experience and license held. Benefits include daily per diem while traveling, covered hotel stays, full medical/dental/vision, 401k matching, tuition assistance, PTO and overtime, PPE

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience as a Construction Laborer and/or Installation Technician preferred.
• OSHA certifications are a plus.
• Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report.
• CDL class A or B license with endorsements (Hazmat, Tanker, Air Brakes).
• Must wear respirator and body harness in confined spaces.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and use power tools.
• Willingness to travel weekly (out of state potential).

Responsibilities

• Repair sewer lines using UV CIPP products and processes.
• Prepare pull-in tube and inspect D-Rings, chains, and attachment to pulling cable.
• Install prepared tube using winch, backhoe, crane, or other equipment.
• Monitor gauges and sensors to ensure equipment operates correctly.
• Cure resin product using inflation tube, calibration cans, UV light, and related equipment.
• Learn Insituform's products, processes, safety procedures, and equipment.
• Drive vehicles to haul crews and equipment.
• Set up and clean up at job sites and in shop areas.

Construction Technician - Laborer

We are currently seeking Construction Technicians / Laborers with valid CDL licenses to join our team in Chesterfield, MO. The Construction Technician is responsible for the installation of CIPP for various municipal, industrial, storm and sewer line rehab and repair projects. This position must be capable of working with minimal oversight while still following instructions closely.

We are currently offering a limited-time sign-on bonus of $4,000 for new hires with a valid CDL license, and sign-on bonuses for new hires without a current CDL license are also available at a reduced amount. New employees who meet the criteria outlined in our sign-on bonus program will be eligible for the full payout.

The starting hourly pay is $24.00-$30.00 per hour depending on experience and CDL license held.

What You'll Do:

• Repair various types of sewer lines by using a specific UV CIPP products and process
• Ensure pull-in tube is properly prepared for installation by examining D-Rings, chains and attachment to pulling cable
• Install prepared tube using a winch, backhoe, crane or other appropriate material
• Monitor gauges, dials, heat sensors, or other indicators to ensure equipment is working properly
• Cure resin product using an inflation tube, calibration can's, UV light trains and associated equipment.
• Learn/train on Insituform's products, processes, safety procedures, installation techniques and equipment
• Drive various vehicles (pickup trucks to tractor-trailer rigs) to haul crews and equipment
• Perform set up and clean up tasks at jobsite/shop

What We Need From You:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience as a Construction Laborer and / or Installation Technician highly preferred
• OSHA certifications are a plus
• Valid driver's license required with a clean motor vehicle report
• Must possess a Class A or B CDL license with required endorsements (Hazmat, Tanker and Air Brakes), compliant with Insituform's motor vehicle standards
• Must be able to wear a respirator and body harness while entering confined spaces
• Ability to lift / move up to 75 pounds and use pneumatic, battery-powered, or electric tools
• Comfortable working outside at job sites with moving vehicles and mechanical operations, with occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles
• Must be able to travel weekly (potentially out of state)
