Job summary

Mobile Modular Management Corporation in the United States is seeking a Construction Technician to handle general maintenance, remodeling, and preparation of modular buildings for delivery to customer sites.

You will perform installations, repairs across plumbing, carpentry, painting, flooring, electrical, and related duties; work Monday-Friday dayshift; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds; outdoor in variable weather; strong emphasis on safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Must have prior experience in construction or related work.
• Able to work outside in variable weather conditions.
• Ability to use both manual and power tools and follow operating guidelines.
• Ability to use mathematics to calculate dimensions and ensure accuracy of specs.
• Ability to follow spoken and written instructions in a fast-paced environment.
• Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
• Deliver high-quality output consistent with construction standards.
• Capable of taking, recording, and following standard measurements.

Responsibilities

• Installation of structures or fixtures using hand or power tools per plan and current building codes.
• Perform maintenance and construction in plumbing, carpentry, painting, flooring, electrical and related areas.
• Perform remodeling or modifications to modular buildings.
• Demolish, replace, or construct walls including framing and drywall.
• Light electrical work: bulbs, wiring, switches, outlets.
