Job summary

Orkin LLC in Texas seeks an installer to inspect and install pest control systems and protect homes. You’ll perform attic and crawlspace work, light carpentry, and document reports with a handheld device.

Paid training, a path to leadership, and a stable, recession-proof role are offered, with pay starting at $20.00–$22.00 per hour and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must obtain state pesticide license within 90 days (company-paid training).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work safely in attics or crawlspaces.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience in construction/roofing/HVAC or maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and install pest and home protection systems.
• Complete attic and crawlspace services, including encapsulation and insulation.
• Light carpentry work.
• Communicate clearly with customers.
• Maintain company equipment and complete reports via handheld device.

Qualifications

• Candidates with construction, roofing, HVAC, or maintenance experience (preferred)

• Comfortable working in varying weather conditions, confined spaces, and on roofs.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrated experience using a metal brake to bend or shape metal components
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to obtain a state pesticide license within 90 days (company-paid training)
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work safely in attics or crawlspaces
• You must wear PPE, including an OSHA-compliant respirator, as required
