Qualifikationen

• Interpersonal communication and math/problem-solving skills required.
• Detail- and safety-oriented mindset.
• Entry-level candidates with strong math and construction aptitude will be trained.
• 2+ years in grade checking, staking, 3D modeling and surveying using Topcon GPS preferred.
• Experience in heavy civil construction or surveying background preferred.

Aufgaben

• Review and interpret construction plans and specs to ensure correct builds.
• Interpret survey stakes to determine grades for embankment/excavation.
• Collect data with RTK GPS: topo surveys, field layout, staking, machine control verification.
• Build and load site models and office data onto machines; calibrate with operators.
• Troubleshoot material quality, GPS equipment issues; discuss production with team.
• Perform other duties including general labor and equipment operation.
