Job summary

Kokosing is seeking a Workforce Development Coordinator for Olen and Area Aggregates to support recruitment, development, and retention of trade professionals. The role reports to the Workforce Development Manager and focuses on building recruiting strategies and talent pipelines.

You will partner with operational leaders, travel to sites, represent Kokosing at career fairs, develop partnerships with trade schools and unions, and maintain metrics to measure program effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in HR, business, workforce development or related field.
• 2–5 years in recruiting, workforce development, talent acquisition, workforce planning, construction staffing, or related experience.
• Strong presentation skills for career fairs, school visits and community outreach events.
• Ability to maintain accurate records, candidate logs, tracking sheets, and dispatch documentation.
• Proactive, high-energy mindset focused on building long-term talent pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operational leaders to understand workforce needs and develop recruiting strategies.
• Implement proactive recruiting campaigns, outreach, partnerships, and career communications.
• Conduct assessments to identify training needs and future staffing requirements.
• Coordinate programs to attract, develop, and retain craft and trade professionals.
• Build relationships with trade schools, colleges, unions, and community organizations.
• Travel to sites to engage field teams and support recruiting initiatives.
• Represent Kokosing at career fairs and industry events; maintain workforce metrics and reports.
