Job summary

JLM Strategic Talent Partners seeks a Survey Manager who will establish and maintain safe, accurate field survey methods. The role focuses on coordinating procedures, staffing the survey team, and ensuring design model integrity across projects in the US.

You will spend most of your time in the field (80–100%), directing survey operations, and collaborating with designers to align file formats and survey requests. A strong emphasis on training and process improvement is expected.

Qualifications

• Establish and maintain methods for safe, accurate and efficient Survey Field Operations.
• Spend 80%–100% of time in the field managing survey operations.

Responsibilities

• Review, understand and communicate project survey requirements (PLS).
• Conduct design model reviews for survey field calculations accuracy.
• Coordinate file types and plan with designer for design survey requests and file progression.
• Staff the survey department with personnel and equipment schedules.
• Establish a project survey plan and field/office procedures.
• Oversee record keeping, field procedures and surveys audits for efficiency and professionalism.
• Maintain the official survey department plan.
• Provide weekly staff training sessions to ensure qualified staff.
• Other duties as assigned
